Returns, exchanges & care

Because each Pretty Steep piece is individually cast and hand finished, all jewellery is final sale. We don’t accept returns for change of mind or personal preference.

That said, if a gift isn’t quite the right fit, we're happy to offer an exchange, store credit, or a gift voucher.

Return shipping costs for exchanges are the responsibility of the customer.


Custom pieces

All custom and made-to-order pieces are final sale.

This includes any piece made specifically for you, such as custom sizing, bespoke designs, personalised details, or one-off commissions. Because these pieces are created especially for you, they can’t be returned, exchanged, or credited for change of mind.

If a custom piece arrives with a genuine fault, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.


Faulty pieces

If your piece arrives with a fault, please get in touch within 14 days of receiving your order.

Where a fault is confirmed, we will happily repair or replace the piece.


What isn’t covered

Jewellery is made to be worn and enjoyed, and normal wear and tear is expected. This isn’t considered a fault.

Damage caused by the following isn’t covered:

  • exposure to chemicals, perfumes, cleaning products, or cosmetics

  • hot springs, pools, or salt water

  • improper care, impact, or accidental damage

Looking after your jewellery will help it last a lifetime.


Non-returnable items

The following items are final sale and not eligible for exchange or credit:

  • custom or made-to-order pieces

  • discounted items

  • gift cards
